The multicultural graduation celebration is a longstanding tradition at WSU and celebrates the accomplishments of students.
The program is supported by the African American Student Center, Asian Pacific Islander Desi American Student Center, Chicanx/Latinx Student Center, Native American Student Center, and the Multicultural Student Center.
Graduates are recognized twice each year. Spring graduates are celebrated through an in-person Multicultural Graduation ceremony, while fall graduates are honored through a Multicultural Graduation Commemorative Video. Beginning Fall 2026, the fall recognition experience transitioned to the commemorative video format.
Invitations to Multicultural Graduation are sent to students engaged with the centers or the center-based mentor programs. Anyone can request an invitation by emailing mss@wsu.edu All graduating students are welcome!
The Fall 2026 Multicultural Graduation Commemorative Video will be released on December 11, 2026. After registering, participants will receive instructions for submitting a graduation photo or headshot.
